Chat Summary for Sunday, January 27th, 2013

Hey all you fabulous #bbloggers (too much?)! My name is Jessica and I'm a beauty blogger from under the sea at The Mod Mermaid. I don't really blog from the ocean, although wouldn't that be something?! I blog about everything beauty; reviews, hauls, wishlists, and make up looks. The make up looks have started appearing on my new YouTube channel which you should all take a peak at ;) :: The Mod Mermaid. I was super excited when Aly tweeted at me to ask if I wanted to write up this week's summary!
This week's chat was:: Share the Love! Bloggers and blogs that inspire you the most and why! Boy am I glad that this is the week I could summarize because, if you missed it, there was nothing but positive energy and love surging through the #bbloggers hashtag. I'll post in bullet points from here on out because it's just so much fun to read:
- even bloggers who were too busy to join the chat weren't too busy to quickly give their favorite bloggers some love
- bloggers were @ tweeting about their favorite bloggers in bulk to mention all their favorites
- some were also giving out individual shout outs with nothing but praise and links
- bloggers were taking this massive opportunity to find new reads by clicking twitter/blog links
- some bloggers were worried that only the "more established" bloggers would be getting all the love but that wasn't the case
- bloggers, big and small, new and old, were all feeling the love
- some bloggers didn't want to post individual links as they felt they may leave someone out and they didn't think that would be fair; there were just too many blogs that they loved!
- as for inspiration, more established bloggers were a big inspiration to a lot of bloggers to start their blogs, as well as inspiration to improve
- a lot of bloggers, myself included, couldn't pin point a single blog that inspired/inspires them; an eclectic mix of different reads/blogs inspires something different out of each blogger
- the only negative ... there were not enough characters on twitter for us bloggers to properly share the love!!!
It was the most positive #bbloggers chat I have ever had the pleasure of participating in. A full hour of showing love to some of your favorite bloggers and being recognized by your fellow bloggers, as well! If you don't believe me just take a look at the thoughts of some #bbloggers on the chat!
The blogging love continued after the chat when personal links were shared and bloggers asked for others links as well to keep on finding new blogs! Not all of the #bbloggers chats can be this positive, but it's nice to take a break from the usual opinionated chats and just share the love!
