Chat Summary for Sunday, March, 3rd, 2013

Hi everyone! Here's the summary for Sunday's chat! Don't forget to sign up here if you want to do a summary, and don't forget to leave a nice comment on this post, because a blogger took time out of their day to write it for us!

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a fantastic day! My name is Brittany and I very recently put together a beauty blog called The Burnished Beauty which you can find here. This is my first time writing a summary for the Sunday's #bbloggers chat and i'm so excited! So let's get started. :)

Sunday's topic was about budgeting money for beauty products. From what I could tell, a lot of people really enjoyed this topic! Here are some things that were discussed:

  • A lot of people contributed their own tips for saving money when it comes to beauty products such as: using coupons, taking advantage of sales, reading reviews before you purchase something, etc..
  • There was a lot of talk about which drugstore products are just as good (or almost as good) as higher end products. But for a lot less money of course! 
  • I noticed conversations about which higher end products are actually worth the money and what ones aren't.
  • Some people brought up how they occasionally go on spending bans to help keep themselves from spending too much money - especially on beauty products!
  • Finally, there were some people talking about blog sales and how they're a great way to buy good drugstore and high end products but for less money than in stores.

Overall, there was some complaining from people who have wasted money on products they didn't like, however, there was much more positive talk! Bloggers were trying their best to help other people and share their knowledge on how to save money. It was fantastic to pick up some very helpful tips and It's safe to say that a lot of people learned something from this chat :)

  1. Great post, I always have a family event or something happening on a Sunday n it's hard to get in the topic so I love summary so I can see what happened xxx
