Hi dolls! We are HettyAsh & Asiabee – a dynamic duo with a unique perspective on all things concerning everyday life and motivational inspiration. We publish weekly blogs which cover everything from fashion & beauty to lifestyle and self-help. You can find us at www.hettyashasiabee.com. We are a bubble of energy so we hope to see you over at our website.

So girlies, let’s get started shall we?

‘Asiabee’s Oriental Matte Look’ list of products:

The first step is to apply the Mac Prep + Prime crème to your face. Only apply it to the areas that tend to shine the most. We combined Iman BB crème with Iman Second To None Crème foundation and mixed to achieve the right skin tone. This mix also helps create a nice glow.

The second step is to brush the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finished Pressed Powder with a good quality powder brush (we used Mac's brand) across your face, until everything has evened out. This helps to give the matte look. This particular powder, we would recommend for when you're taking photos and filming as it helps reduce shine.

The next product we used was the Mac Burgundy Times Nine Eye Shadow. We used the glossy gold and purple colours. We wanted HettyAsh's eyes to stand out and be the main attraction. It's great for those who have small eyes as it helps accentuate them.

The mascara comes next - we used the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara which has a curved brush, but feel free to use any great mascara that is available.

The eyeliner we used was the Rimmel London rich brown waterproof eye definer. We love this particular product as the colour is perfect for those with small eyes. We find that applying black eyeliner all across your eyelids can sometimes give you the 'goth' eye look.

The Beauty Blush Warm Sand by Fashion Fair helps to define your cheek bones and the colouring provides a different contrast as compared to the rest of the makeup.

We find you can have your makeup done perfectly but if your lips are not done right, it can spoil the whole look. We used Mac's Chestnut lip pencil to outline the lips to give it a fuller look and tidy the appearance of the lipstick. For the inside of the lips, we used Fashion Fair Siren.

The final step is to re-apply the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finished Pressed Powder to finalise the look.

And voila...

Best Nude Lipsticks {As low as 1$}

Josephine Nychole here again. If you are anything like me; you are obsessed with lip products. I have a drawer filled with lipsticks of all colors and brands. However, I tend to gravitate towards my nudes. Perhaps, they are just less risky - but boy are they flattering. I tend to lean towards nudes with more of a pink tone - but the one's I chose below are pretty well rounded {I think}. Which are your favorites?

Top Nudes

NYX Matte Lipstick 'Natural' ||  $5.99 ||  These are actually my favorite "drug-store // high-street" lipsticks on the market. They are amazing. The pigmentation is great, and they are fairly long lasting for a lipstick {not marketed as long lasting}. This color is a perfect 'natural' color - that should work on almost any lip. A definite Must Have.

MAC {Satin} Lipstick 'Faux'  ||  $16 ||  Mac lipstick is my absolute favorite brand of lipstick. I am obsessed with the fragrance of these lipsticks. I'm not quite sure why, but I love it. It's my beauty dream to own every MAC lipstick in the line. This will most likely never happen - but one lipstick at a time.

Nars Lipstick 'Honolulu Honey'  ||  $26  || This nude lipstick leans towards the orange side, but is still very much a nude lipstick. These would be perfect for those of us that have naturally a lighter more flesh toned lip color. Otherwise, it could work for anyone. Not your style - these Nars lipsticks are pretty amazing and come in many other colors!

Eyes lips face {elf} 'Classy'  ||  $1  || This is seriously an amazing line for a very nice price. When these lipsticks first hit the market, I grabbed one in every color {for LESS than one MAC lipstick - that's crazy.} Classy is by far my favorite color from the line && has been set as a nearly identical dupe for MAC's Angel.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor 'Born with It' || $7.49 ||  Born with it is a perfect nude lipstick. It's more on the pink side - but will pretty much mimic a lips color but better. It makes my lips look pretty flawless. It's a great nude lipstick and should work for just about everyone.

What are your favorite nudes? Share them below in the comments!

Beauty Hot Five List

First time here? You may want to subscribe to our RSS feed

Hello There; Josephine Nychole here. I'm sharing my Beauty Hot Five list with you!

Let's be serious; when I hear the words "New" in the beauty world, I immediately start salivating. I become completely obsessed, and want it - NOW. This isn't always possible for a broke college student like me; but I can dream right? Here's a list of Five "New{er}" products that are currently on the top of my wishlist.

Hot Five

1. Lorac Pro Palette 2  ||  42$  || I actually purchased this product the day it became available at my local Ulta. I love my Lorac Pro palette, so I knew I had to have this. These palettes, in my opinion, are far superior to any of the Urban Decay Palettes {I own all three Naked Palettes}. I find myself gravitating towards my Lorac Pro Palette 9 out of 10 times. The pigmentation and creaminess of the shadows are just amazing. I was worried that the first palette was just too good to be true; but thankfully I was wrong. The second palette in this line is just as amazing. A definite must for any beauty lover.

2. bareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20  ||  29$  || If you can make it past the incredibly long name, this product seems pretty cool due to the fact that it's made by bareMinerals. bareMinerals is pretty famous for their amazing powder foundations. They added the pressed powders to their line {of which I love} so I guess the only next option would be a liquid foundation? It seems to be making some good waves in the beauty community.

3. Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wearing Lipstick  ||  21$  || I am a true lip product junkie; so these definitely intrigue me. I've tried them at Sephora, and WANT one, but 21 bucks is a kind of steep for me right now. They are absolutely at the top of my wishlist though!

4. Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Kit  ||  45$  || When I worked at Sephora I had SO may customers come in asking about contouring. We always hear about it, and want to be able to contour with the best of them; the new Smashbox Step-By-Step kit does just that. It even comes with the brush to do the work; pretty awesome if you ask me. Let's get to contouring.

5. Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Push-Up Liner  ||  24$  || I'm in love with They're Real mascara, so when I heard this was coming out I was extremely excited! I actually received a sample one in the mail a few weeks ago; I'm not sure why I haven't tried it yet - but I just haven't {I think I forgot I had it}. I've watched some YouTube Videos; and it's kind of a hit and miss product - some love it, some hate it. I'm interested in trying it out myself, maybe tomorrow.

Do you own any of these products? Are they a must or a bust?!?
